The design process starts with a meeting with you, the client, to discuss your ideas and understand how you envisage your future garden. Depending on your requirements, the design process usually progresses as follows:
Site Survey
Prior to starting the design, we carry out a full garden site survey and site analysis. This includes marking existing buildings, boundaries, levels, trees and other key elements
Concept Design Proposal
We then meet to discuss initial design ideas and draw up a design brief together with you
Master Plan Design
A master plan using computer generated images and perspectives are prepared; these show design features, hard landscaping and planting areas.
Landscaping
Quotes are then sought for the landscaping from our professional landscape contractors; you could also use a contractor of your choice
Site Supervision
To ensure that a high standard of finish, we are involved in the supervision of the project throughout the build to ensure that you are happy with how the build is progressing and keep it on track.
Planting Plan
We design a planting plan which accounts for your plant preference, soil suitability and garden aspect.
We source and select plants from specialist nurseries to ensure strong, healthy specimens. On delivery, we check the plants, position them on site and supervise planting.
After Care
We can advise on maintenance of your garden; provide planting plans for borders, supply and plant up pots, window boxes or design a bulb planting scheme for extra Spring colour.
We can also source and supply water features, furniture, outdoor kitchens and sculptures.
