This garden in South West London was tired, with overgrown shrubs, mismatched, uneven paving and old Astro turf , it was also overlooked by neighbours’ houses. Despite being spacious, our clients had nowhere they could sit and enjoy the space

Their vision was for a garden with colour and privacy with designated areas for dining, relaxing and entertaining

A dining area was constructed using smooth sandstone inset with natural clay bricks, framed by romantic planting, it overlooks a lawn which leads to a contemporary pergola with floating sandstone steps and secluded seating and fire pit

The result is a practical, elegant garden that works in harmony with the house
